15m x 14m structure used to provide both protection from the elements and to avoid airborne contaminationduring encapsulation of low level radioactive waste.An internal lining was installed to keep the steel frame free of contamination in order to make it easier to re-use or dispose of the steelwork. The structure also incorporates an 'Envirovac' to maintain a negative internal pressure.
